It ain't an English pound exclusively! Never has been. English contacts- you mean British contacts etc - they have all been built up with Irish, Welsh, Scots and yourselves. A lot of the posts make some of you guys sound extremely egocentric. Stop taking things personally people. Independence has nothing to do with hatred or distrust. Some people and there are more than you think, feel a fresh start is required. Who knows this might start you guys thinking how to change Westminster for your own good!

These threads are nonsense. One or two people have an idea what's going on here and the others most certainly don't. If your a Scot or live in Scotland and are entitled to cast your vote, then you have a decision to make. Your vote up here will depend on your outlook on the future and what has happened over the past 30 to 40 years to this country. If you have relocated up to Scotland in the past few years your vote may be different. Do not underestimate the sentiment and strength of feeling regarding Westminster politics. I know most of you guys will be making comments tongue in cheek, but some seem to think that Englandshire is the best thing by far and that we up here are the poor cousins who should put up and shut up. This isn't going to happen. No matter what you think about Alex Salmond and the SNP most people who want independence are not necessarily voting for him. ATB Mcleod

Hello RS, I asked the same as BBL a while ago too. It seems the Clyde is a funny place, there are it seems very little areas of shore wildfowling of open knowledge. As the post above states. There are areas on sandbars south of you that at certain times hold large numbers later in the season. It's not worth your time or your certificate having ago, in my opinion. There are a few lads I know that take most of their Geese from stubble and freshwater on inland fields in Ayrshire. What's the mudflats like between you and the Port?
