went out on sunday with gusts of wind around 25-30mph and rain showers on stubble ended with a 149 pigeons 1 magpie 1 crow it was good sport with some coming down wind, So it can work with high winds if every thing goes right.

trying to pick up a good second hand 4*4 quad anybody know of any it is just going to used for shooting and nothing else so do not want to pay the earth.

Hi guys just sold my dads zeiss to magman now I am selling one of my swarovski scope off my .222 as was out with rifle last night something went on the trigger so took the bolt out to make safe and then dropped the bolt spent about 2 hours looking for it and then went back this morning and still no joy as the rifle is very old I am not going to bother replacing it as I will just use my .243. Was thinking of putting the scope on my .22 but that is a bit of a overkill cannot do pics as no camera at mo.

did not take long for that to start to fill up did it. much better though guys.

got my mates wedding to go to but he had a word with the hotel where the reception is and they are going to put it on in the bar for us and its a free bar result!!!!

it is a 4a in swarovski mate but in zeiss they call it a 44 im sure. scope is sold to magman pending the usual.

similar the three thick posts do not go so far in to the centre so you can see more of your target clearly

sorry mate not to clever with all the computer stuff it is a german 4 ret but with an illuminated centre cross which is side rehostat adjustment.

anyone else tried these tried them the weekend through the shotty bloody brilliant for a quick clean very highly reccommend them to anyone that shoots and i think they do all sorts of calibre.

went out for three hours on sunday afternoon the worst conditions you could want. Little wind bright sun fairly warm found some on some stubble ended up with 46 birds it was very hard they were interested in the coys but not really commiting them selves have noticed the birds are now grouping up and tend be flying around in fairly big flocks. it was nice just to be out two chinese water deer went walking through the decoys and it was nice to work the dog before we start walking about for the phesants.

If it is a private sale mate you can post the rifle direct to the buyer it does not have to go to a rfd. That is only if you are a business sorry to but in but might help your sale.

what good cartridges do you guys use for woodies and game through a 20bore, I have been using gamebore and eley but cannot really find one I like any recomendations preferably a 6 shot load.

Well said mate and it is down to us as responsible shooters to be responsible about it, the best way to make sure is to check with the land owner they will only respect you more for asking than just going.

you cant mate they are a wild bird bird, at the moment there is so much food it is hard to pin point them.

Quite possibly because the sugar quoter has been cut for the farmers so they have had to turn to other crops to keep going this could be a reason.
