Fantastic 👍👍Looks like a proper mans rifle my 22lr and 222 both wooden stocks I do hate black plastic rifles Sorry 😐 for mini rant But I love wooden stocks

I have plastic, laminate and wooden stocked rifles, love them all but a wooden stocked rifle will always have the looks.

Thanks for all the comments 👍

  2. I heard back from winchester today and they could tell me that the rifle was made in 2012. 200 of them were made for Cabelas to commemorate 100 years of the 375 H&H. It's a stunning rifle, made to pre 64 spec. I really cant wait for Covid to do one and we can start planning our next trip to Namibia.

  3. I have just bought a winchester model 70 super grade, it's a cabelas limited edition and would like to know at least the age. I cant seem to find an email address for winchester to ask them. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

  4. With very little foreshore shooting up here my season is usually done at the end of January.

I was working in the morning but got home early enough to grab the gun and the hound and head out for a walk. Managed to come home with a mallard and a snipe. Always good to end the season with something to pluck.

Very envious of some of the sport you have right on your doorstep - the geese and the sheer number of snipe in particular.

The last few years the snipe have done amazingly well here. Seeing a lot even before the migrants show up. They are definitely my favourite bird to hunt 👍

A lit bit of Google search provides the following information - they do not have any adjustment for elevation or deflection and would probably have been used as a spotting scope on an artillery piece or on a heavy machine gun. Apparently no good for use on a rifle as all the adjustment would have to be on the mount.

They were also used as the sight for the co-axial BESA machine gun in the Mk7 and 8 Churchill gun tank. Some parts may be compatible with the no32 as used on the No4T but not many.

    Thanks for that @Lever357

  7. I have 2 scopes here that I believe are Lee Enfield scopes but I may be wrong. I have no idea what they are worth, I saw one for sale on the bay for £100, I dont know if it sold or not!!! If anyone has any info they want to add feel free.

    £100 or nearest offer 🤷‍♂️20210120_201156.jpg.725f7add1121f2d79a03839686efeab7.jpg20210120_200251.jpg.2164d7b666f99a0157a42a52bba7f547.jpg20210120_200310.jpg.ec90bca72acfb0ff900075187227e2e6.jpg

Oh some bits and pieces left over from my collection that I used to have.

All of the Pistol, Rifle and Shotgun carts are gone.

    a few 20mm and 30mm mainly.

Bit bigger than I am looking for 😄

Yes I can see it now, I bet I am not the only one who would miss it there.

All far too small for me I'm afraid, good luck with your search.

    What do you have?
