  1. I have a straight stock for an M1 that will fit an M2 or a Speedfeed MK IVs pistol grip stock for an M1/M2 that will work on your gun if you want to swap.
  2. Well shot Martin. I was one of the RO's on the McQueen shoot up to about 1pm and we had some excellent brand new shooters through. One 14 year old lad I RO'ed was no bigger than 4 1/2 foot and had never shot before. He shot one of the .308 Accuracy International look alike Remington 700 sniper rifles and got 3 hits out of 5 on the 6 inch diameter black bull and 1 in the white zone - very very impressive indeed for never having shot a gun before and then doing it with a rifle most fully grown men have trouble handling ! I also saw one guy get 5 out of 5 on the scoring zone and he only had 1 arm !! That was going some. The queues were very long and people were waiting up to 2 hours to shoot some stages - but they all seemed in good spirits despite the chill wind !
  3. Stuart, I dont get your post - whats up with Bisley ?
  4. The recoil spring in all semi autos is vital to the guns functionability - in a new gun its advisable to leave the bolt locked back in the safe for a month or so just to help initial cycling issues, however after a month or so leave the bolt closed as this simply wears down the tensile strength of the spring quicker and hence it will need replacing sooner. On a Browning Gold / Silver dont lock the bolt back for any significant time as this is the most sensitive semi with regards the recoil spring and they will stop working as soon as that spring gets worn, much earlier than other makes.
  5. I am interested in the Beretta Extrema but dont know the difference between the Extrema and the Extrema 2 - can anyone enlightern me ?
