Im no expert but when I shoot the semi I need to add lead but when I shoot the sxs its on the bead. this is on clays the same targets different gun.

I find it makes no difference what I shoot, I often have 3 or 4 different types of cart when clay shooting even home loads with tear drop shaped shot and all other shapes inbetween and still hit with the same consistency. It only makes a difference if you want a lighter load or one that cycles a semi, if it goes bang then you cannot go wrong.

I have not worked as a extra but have worked on a few tv shows on outside film jobs as safety and unless you are the star then you have to stand around in freezing conditions most of the time (if in the uk). saying that if the director wants lunch then its lunch and its allways good food! once we spent all day in one of the heated buses doing nothing just incase they needed us on set and we got paid a fortune just to be there so if you can get work then do it but I can see how it can get boring quite quickly.
It is funny watching so called star actors fluff lines 10 times in a row though.

bit ot but can you buy a sect 58 and then put it on your section 1 to fire it? or does it have to go to a rfd to be added to a sect 1?

ahh ****** were they the clay superfasts? they were in with the other game carts.........

Put a slab through the sxs and they are quite nice not too punchy but seem to hit the clays hard. might try them in 28g and see what they are like through the semi.

was in skipton gunroom today and they have at least 10 slabs of superfast in the shop.

The shot fall-out range will be too far for most clay shoots, that's why most restrict to 28g loads
BBNormally for clay shooting 71/2-8-9 are the shot sizes used, 28g and below
Normally for pigeon shooting 5-6 are the shot sizes used, 28g and above

Do heavy loads travel further ie a 21g load will not go as far as a 28g load of the same size shot?

Like them, never had a bad cart but went over to superfasts as they were £3 a slab cheaper, they def kick quite hard but through a semi they cycle the action great!
