Do the newer polos have the adjuster wedge that you have to tap up to get the drum off? that caught me out on the other halfs car wondering why the drum would not come off!
ask them what the brake test came through as, it should tell you whats going on. might just need a clean on the inside.

Finished touching up a few bits of paint on the pcp last night and charged it back up and at half 2 in the morning was woken by a allmighty bang as one of the o rings gave up and vented 200 bar out into the bedroom after that the thunder seemed pretty lame.
New boxers were needed.

I had all manor of birds coming to the feeders until the magpies turned up now its just a couple of bluetits. They will be going down soon!

Il be going but in yorkshire style I will be taking a bag off food and drink in with me and as it goes down it will be filled with goodies!

I had this the other day after giving the barrel of my air rifle a good clean, zero set then the next day 1.5" high so zeroed again then next day shot it again and 2" high, had to shim the scope mount to get it right and since then its been bang on. No idea why it went so far off but its had about 100 pellets through and seems settled. Never had to shim it before but then I have never given it a good clean!

What they should do next is make everyone get a licence for driving and there wont be any ******* on the road, oh wait..............

And how many people will have guns for plinking and never ever go on the net to look up the latest laws, will they be locked up for having a firearm?? how many brococks turned up after the ban? how many still use them on the sly?
The only way I see this winning for the shooter is by "complying" by bombarding the all ready overstretched system to the point where it fails and something will have to give and hopefully it will be there stupid law, I am sure that if everyone phoned and emailed every day to see where the air gun cert was it would soon fall down.
If all else fails everyone should refuse to shoot the deer and let them take over!

Watched it take off yesterday from robin hood, made it there as it was starting to take off!

Had 1 more today and his mate made off so another 1 to go! I have had only 2 females the rest have been big males with rather impressive nuts so dont fancy eating them.... I know the other shooter and am planning to ask if we can get together an have a good go at the area and get the 12g out on them.

The area I shoot links to a large woodland area which part of is shot by someone else but rarely so it looks like this will be a long term thing! just a shame they are not nice eating.

I have just bagged the first haul of greys this year after getting fed up of the amount of them around destroying trees and feeders, I thought there was about 5-8 on my land and in the local area but I have had 15 in the last 2 weeks just from one spot so the question is will the numbers go down or will they just keep coming from the surrounding woodland to take my feeders apart?
Its been nice hunting and the list of birds I have seen has been amazing and got to watch 4 fledgling bluetits come to the feeders with the parents today and have a play at landing on them an having a good meal.

Used them for the first time this week and yes they are not super cheap but they were happy to send out loads of different carts to try. the carriage is a bit off putting but they were ordered just before lunch on mon and by 2pm tues they were delivered with text update with estimated delivery time so not too bad in the end.

I picked up some alphamax 42g bb 70mm the other day and after I got home realized they had a magnum warning on them and all my guns are 850 bar or 31/4tons proof so I could have blown myself up with these, would make more sense to put one standard on them not one for steel and one for lead.

In regards to the firsts, put 100 through the sxs the other day and they were fine, could be a bit hot but it was a hot day! the barrels were really clean, just needed a pull through at the end of the day. They were bought from a supplier who keeps them in a nice warm dry shop.
(i dont work for eley and have had my share of duff carts off them!)
