Went out from work last night for acouple of hours
Just for a bit of peace and quiet.
WOW I think I might go to work early and get shooting at night
1730 set up and they were coming home to roost very nicely and obliging.
There was in excess of 120 birds in 2 hours all around.
On rape!!! nothing on the pea fields though.
Managed to shoot 22.
I was out Sat at 8am on a very large pea field.
Everything was looking good pease just starting to come through straw bale hide built 2 weeks ago so that they could get used to it. Walked off about a dozen of those wonderful things.
Watched loads of seagulls for the next 5 hours!!!!!!!!!
1 pidgeon. :<
Then went to a rape field stayed for 3 hrs saw 2 pidgeons....
Sun morning watching the field behind my field where farmer does not want anybody to shoot.....
There must have been over 100 of the little darlings :< :<
I knbow the feeling thats what it was like lasr Sat.
I was out yesterday just "looking" saw a few but they did not seem to be keen.
