  1. Cheers Paul, much appreciated! Clay line is usually good fun and the clay snooker is something different to have a crack at. Nice little show, bit of everything to see and do.
  2. It has come to light via a PM from a PW member (thanks Creakindoor) that this stock won't fit my LVSF .243 as the mag position is not compatible so BIG thankyou to Logstove for being a true gent and agreeing to void the sale, just shows how helpful the PW's are...thanks again. John.
  3. hi my telephone number is *************** please call me or give me your number so I can call you I have a .243 lvsf I think it should fit and if so will happily buy it at asking price just like to check barrel diameter against yours thank you john
  4. Chalk Farm off the A47 near Swaffham skeet and 50 bird sporting on the 18th, Fair Clay Targets 100 bird sporting on the 19th at Watery Lane Beeston, near Dereham.............
  5. It's in a field in the middle of nowhere near the village of Silk Wiiloughby where it is signposted. Silk Willoughby is just south of Sleaford which is NG34. Here are the Lat/Long coordinates, put them in your satnav. 52 58 07,85 N 0 24 50.29 W
  6. Re-post. Organiser has confirmed that although fibre wad cartridges are preferred, plastic wad are acceptable.
  7. Thanks for the reply Brecklandsporter, based on that it's a budget of £24-25 and min. 100 cartridges at Chalk Farm or £22 and min. 100 cartridges at Fair Clay Targets............yep, it's the pub food bonus at FCT that swings it then...........
  8. So those who go on Sat will have an advantage on Sun over those that don't........??
  9. Can I just ask Breckland Sporter, I presume the layout for the practise day WILL be changed so it is different to that being used on the comp day.........??
  10. Spoilt for choice this weekend!! Chalk Farm on Sat AND Sun and then Fair Clay Targets on Monday......only problem is that hard earned cash can only be spent once so have to work out which is best place to go. Chalk Farm is a newish venue and is a good site that is gaining experience and building up and expanding it's facilities all the time but is limited on stands and I hate queueing........FCT has a bigger range of targets due to having the increased number of stands and at £22 is better value for money for 100 birds........both places putting on that 'little bit extra' as it's Easter too so the usual pot hunters will probably go to both venues, but hey, they pay their money so deserve to win if they're better than everyone else but it's a bit disheartening for the recreational shooters who like to win something too just once in a while Hmmmm, .......might be the pub food included in the entry fee at FCT that 'swings it'.....as one famous supermarket says' Every Little Helps!'
  11. I've shot there for the last 3 years and used plastic wad on each occasion. Any queries, call Nina (phone number on original post). They have not previously had cartridges on sale on the day either. Good prize money on offer, so they deserve to be well supported.

  14. Hi, I've got a Browning 325 Grade 5 30" M/C in really good nick, if you're interested, full set of chokes and hard case etc. Located near Dereham, Norfolk. Got someone interested who is coming to look at it at the PW flush on March 9th if you wanted to look at it.........thanks Nicola.
  15. Might be worth getting yourself along to the PW Norfolk Flush being run by HitClays (threads on PW Events & Meets) if it's not already full.......there's lots of people there and you might get lucky with finding someone that will give you an opportunity........
  16. Think he might have been waiting for you to advise when you were all sorted health-wise and yep, he is v busy at the moment as are all keepers and that won't change until Feb 1st.....roost shooting starts in Feb so there might be an opportunity there......make sure you introduce yourself at the PW Flush in March if nothing comes to fruition before then......
  17. Hi Ivanhoe.504 Suggest you take on board TaxiDriver's good advice and also use the 3 P's approach - Polite, Patient, Persistent. Getting permission to shoot over anyone's land is difficult to obtain so I wish you luck with your search. Maybe worth you going along to the PW Flush on March 9th being run by HitClays, there might be an opportunity to introduce yourself to some of the local keepers and farmers that go along.......but be prepared for lots of 'No's' as most of them have their regulars. Lakeside1000 - sounds like you're up and about again??
  18. Hi, Are you sorted? I may have a medium mens Musto tweed waistcoat/skeet vest in WLSS pattern available.......
  19. HitClays (www.fairclaytargets.co.uk) is a mobile clay shoot and has run several flush comps for PW and does a lot of the county shows - Bakerboy and several others from your way have attended so can give a view on his set-up. Maybe PM him and find out if he is interested in travelling down to you??
  20. Pics from the Fair Clay Targets Norfolk Autumn Flush clay shoot that was held on Sunday are available to view on www.photoboxgallery.com/nicolahassall..........
