  1. Had a great time today. Weather was ok, targets presented something for everyone although I agree that, due to the local topography certain types of presentation were missing, but overall a really enjoyable shoot. We went round in about 3 hours and everything ran smoothly. I think Mike and Debbie Faux put on a good show and should be congratulated
  2. Who is the other one Azzuri .....? Lol A five hour round trip and shot like my cataracts had cataracts. Spennymoor is an extra hour each way and even if I don't go I will still be the second placed Merseyside shooter. Although I have to say they were excellent targets and a really nice shoot.
  3. A great shoot at Hodnet. Excellent reffing, a great variety of targets and a good shooting day. All topped of when I placed third in my class©, so that's got to be a good day . Great to see so many familiar faces from PW enjoying themselves and yes Chard, you did get me and Roman the right way round this time.
  4. I too enjoyed the beautiful weather and good company of my fellow PWers Went round with Roman (as usual) and IanE (stood well upwind as he was coughing a lung up for most of the day, and would not have the good grace to die quietly). That made Ians 81 all the more impressive, Roman a respectable 74, and yours truly had a 'mare on stand 12 hitting 1/10 (I believe I'm in good company timps ) giving me a soul sucking 68 (ah well the bubble was bound to burst sooner or later). Still it was worth the admission money to watch Beretta in full on Yoda mode. I don't know about victorys - i think he was firing lasers. Clouds of orange and black dust were the order of the day. Well done Mr P - still got it - even if you don't always get it out these days  Andy
  5. Mr Potter Mark H is Roman and was very disappointed with his score even though he was second in C class. I'm Andy S (Maxus) and when I left I was leading C class with an 82. I do like the nice weather:). Left a few out there, but isn't that always the case. Well shot to Chard and Mr P. I believe Brett shot 96. The guy is a machine.
  6. Thanks Ian, I learned at the feet of the master. Class win but more important shot well after the disaster that was shugborough the previous week. Now what will I spend my winnings on ? Maybe a down payment on a Muller Choke from Nicky T
  7. I have already written my letter of resignation, and plan to live in luxury on my winnings for the rest of my days.
  8. I hope to follow in the footsteps of one I. Edwards for the next 6 months :good: :D
  9. Manchester today. Shot with beretta and Roman. Real pleasure to watch beretta smash his way to 94, I had 71 when I left - but rumour has it after some problems with stand 9 it was scratched from the shoot - as I managed a 7/8 on the stand I am a little peeved but I know there were a number of unhappy campers there today.
  10. This has to win some sort of prize for being the most informative and comprehensive reply to a vague question ever !!! Top Marks Mr P :good:
  11. True. I know it was childish but I couldn't resist. I still watched the whole 13 minutes - which is as long as I've looked at any bush.
  12. Awww **** :look: :look: :look: I was hoping for floating bin lids.
  13. I'm tied 70th :good: Not even fired a shot - may just leave it there.
