  1. Hi All,

I have a Rivers West Cascade Jacket for sale - it is brand new (only tried on in shop and house) but no tags - thrown away.

These are more a short jacket / fleece than a heavy weight - good for movement.

It is size XL and is in Olive Drab Green - these are 100% Waterproof and windproof.

Reason for selling is that I have lost a bit of manly bulk recently and don't wish to grow back in to it !

If the link below works, then it is one of these -

If the link above does not work, then please pm for photos.

Price I want is £35.00 delivered, plus paypal charges if you use it.

  2. Nice - I smile every time I shoot mine.

    Which model is it ?

Mines the Performance Centre version, but I had the barrel chopped and re threaded to 1/2" UNF.

I just have a decent red dot on it for fast shoot fun rather than precision shooting with a scope.

  3. The cheapest way to boil a pan of water and incredibly fast and controllable. What's more dead safe there is only residual heat from the hot pan on the hob surface. Brand? well its common technology so I suggest buying a well known brand like from the BSH group Neff, bosh, seimens, gaganau. etc. Melie are great but outside of wet goods and hoovers its mainly bought in and badged up.

remember you need different pans stainless with a magnetic core in the base are the best. Non magnetic wont work full stop

I've read the stats for performance / economy and they are impressive.

As for pans - we are ok on that front thanks.

  4. Neff are a good brand but the average life of an induction hob is 7 years and how the hell anyone breaks one is beyond me ??? Their toughened glass .www.miele.co.uk/hobs/

You get what you pay for

Quality does normally equate to cost so we don't mind spending a bit more.

    Cheers.

  5. The two I've known of didn't require replacement sears though, so don't jump into getting them replaced anyway. The other one belonged to a friend and needed a new spring of some sort.

Yeah, I have it in my head that it was a spring issue of some kind that caused problems on early guns.

  6. Houlsby, I am secretary of a HO approved club near Maltby, J1 M18. We shoot BP pistol, air pistol and LBP/ revolver. Please feel free to contact me via here or PM if you are interested in more info.

Unfortunately, LBP / LBR and large mag s1 shotguns may only be used by the certificate holder. The law is crystal clear; I've had direct discussion with the HO on this matter. I really wish it was different and I'm personally doing all I can to change things.

Remember, there are no consequences if the police get it wrong - there ARE consequences for you or me!

    Kind regards and safe shooting

That confirms my understanding of it.

    Thanks for the post.

  7. I'd be interested in seeing the exact wording on the club FAC - as I have not heard of LBRs on club tickets automatically giving Section 15 exemption to club members...

IF it is worded correctly to cover ALL club members then I am surprised that more clubs don't own LBRs for members to use.

The NRA advice I have read is:

I have the impression that the NRA office would also be interested in how the club FAC is worded...

I'm with you on this saddler - we looked into have a club LBP and it was a no go.

If anyone can show it's Ok then would appreciate the info.
