I have phoned the UK importers and they say that they have 150,000 rounds in their warehouse. I guess it's up to the shops to order some more in. Steve

Sounds Good Andy, where do you buy your Velocitors from ? I have tried Chris Potter and Countryways but they don't have them ? Steve

Has anyone tried the CCI Velocitors ? I have read reports that they are accurate and have muzzle energy aroung 180fpe. Should be good for 100 Yards or so ? Steve

Hi Lee Have you installed the tuned trigger yet ? If not, I think that will make a huge difference as the standard one required a lot of pressure. Steve

I was there with Lee yesterday, I should have thought more carefully too. Just waiting for my FAC to arrive in approx 3 weeks ! It's very easy to get ahead of ones self and not think things through properly, especially when you have just picked up a new toy. Steve

Hi Guys Just thought I would let you guys know that are searching for land to stick with it. I have been looking for over a year without success. I put an ad in the paper recently and had 9 calls ! Have now visited them all and had a good chat and several cups of tea. It turns out that I have written permission for 21 pieces of land ! One owner has given me permission for all 12 of his large farms ! One owner I visited yesterday is overun with rabbits, its the worst case I have seen, we counted 84 rabbits in one small field and the owner said thats not nearly as bad as it is in better weather. Its quite amazing, 2 weeks ago zero permissions now 21 ! Also a number of the owners have said there fellow neighbours also want pigeons, rabbits etc removed, although for the time being it will be impossible to shoot this many areas. Steve

Thanks for the info guys. I'm going to give this one a miss, not worth the risk. I have some other good shoots so I'm not really bothered, just wanted to help out if I could.

Hi guys, need to some more advice. Went to shoot the pigeons today but its not quite a building site, its a large building thats being re-developed. The building itseld has pigeons all over it and the new roof that recently went on is completely covered in pigeon waste. The problem is that it is surrounded by occupied houses so I am very concerned about shooting there. He says that the neighbours are fine as the pigeons have been causing them problems too. It basically a new road and people have only just moved in. If i was to shoot a would only be a few yards from this road. The guy wants to know what options he has to remove this pigeons, his happy to just shoot them himself. Any ideas ? Steve

Thanks for the info guys They are feral pigeons, I just want to be sure that I can despatch them humanely and not have them flapping around half dead ! Thanks Steve

I have been asked to clear about 100 pigeons from a building site at the weekend where pigeons are causing huge problems. I've been shooting rabbits for some time but have no experience with birds. Any advice would be welcome. Are head shots best for pigeons ?
