It's not like he's going to be around to care! All of this is ridiculous. These people had YEARS to complain about it, but have only come forward now he's dead. Rather too late to be complaining, don't you think?!
I'm sure some of them are genuine, but some are jumping on the bandwagon. Should have been done while he was alive so firstly he could defend himself and if that didn't work, take the punishment. Any loss of OBE or whatever isn't going to do him any harm now is it?

I'm not tee-total, but have never really drunk in the house. Maybe one glass of wine with Christmas dinner and a cold beer when we are having a barbecue. We still have beer in the garage from 2 summers ago.
My drinking now is only ever done on a Sunday lunchtime at the pub, as it's kind of traditional and I enjoy it. I think drinking any more often would take some of the pleasure out of it.

I always thought human shape targets were illegal in the U.K. but I might be wrong. What justification could there possibly be for having one? You might want to know if you could hit a squirrels head at 30 yards, but what part of a human is anyone other than the military ever likely to shoot?

Clubs are looking for safety way above shooting ability. One probationer at my club had his probation extended by another 6 months as he couldn't stop pointing guns at people. Then they kicked him after after his first year.
Oh yes, don't forget to humour the "target bores" with their interesting stories of how good a shot they are.

To be honest, I always thought he was a sex case. So why wasn't any of this brought up when he was alive so he could defend himself? If he WAS a sex case he should have been sentenced while he was living. If he wasn't, he could have cleared his name. Doing it after his death is pointless.

I have some annoyingly persistent pigeons that come in my garden and make a mess of our shed. If I go to the door and look at them they ignore me. If I go to the door holding an airgun, they fly off. Even holding my arms as if I'm holding a gun will make them vamoose double quick. Can something with such a tiny brain really understand when I can or can't do them any harm?
