It sounds like your already over the main problem by getting a gun that fits. If you can get the gun elsewhere 200 cheaper but they are chucking 200 worth of extras then it equals each other out 686E is a nice gun J
  18. Just thought i would say hi to all. Me and a friend decided to take up shooting back in may myself under met police and him under essex police, a credit to both police forces as we both had our licence within 6 weeks Next was guns ! the bit we all love we deicided to have a nice selection some serious guns for clay shooting and some for a bit of fun Below is a pic of our joint collection so far, only 1 more to add which will be a Beretta 686 E Evo or perhaps a Miroku Mk70 grade 5 or even a caesar guerini maxum As a newbie i cannot comment on the seriousness of each for people who take the sport very very seriously but i can comment on my finding on them as a fun shooter From top to bottom 1) Lanber Sporting Delixe O/u great gun ok not that expensive but in all fairness his the clays well looks great and performs well and well built 2) Browning b725 sporter O/u superb gun in feel and to shoot but as im a tart i wish it had some lovely engraving 3) Ugartechea SxS animal is the only way to describe this the thump you get makes you respect this beast, to date my greatest moment was hitting 2 clays in 2 shots with this bad boy 4) Browning Maxus Premium Semi auto a total looker again as a tart i love the look of this the engraving is stunning, shoots very very well just makes a mess and a pain to pick up all your empty cartridges after 5) Squires & Bingham Pump Action bit of a childhood dream and doesnt let me down great great fun and hold my biggest % score of hits with this overall im very very pleased i took up this hobby its very enjoyable and so so many friendly people both in gun shops and at the grounds. A few weeks back we spent a week at high lodge suffolk for a shooting / fishing trip fantastic place with lovely lodges right on the lake and a min walk to the shooting section great friendly staff and the mrs even had a go and seems to enjoy it too ! Ive also been to fennes braintree which is lovely ground and quite local, at the weekend we tried shrove hill which is good for the money but as a newbie isnt good with everyone behind watching so we ended up at dartford clay ground and tried some compaq which was actually really good fun made better as met some lovely friendly people who we played with. Over the next couple of months im hoping to go to more clay shooting grounds as i can and get in as much practise as poss Sorry if i bored you, but hi anyway lol J
  19. thanks guy the one for £50 looks nice, i have also messaged JONAH to see what one he has for sale J
  20. A lot of times i take more than one of my guns clay shooting and get up of carrying 2 slips, ive found a beretta double slip but its out of stock at beretta does anyone know of any other brands who make a double shotgun slip J
  21. It may be too late now as you have made your mind up but i would seriously reconsider mounting on the floor, The doors are heavy and you dont want to damage you nice guns. With your situation mounting to the wall isnt easy but in the long run would be as someone said above chemical fix the rods into the wall then simply bolt on J
  22. Its worth the wait though lol i remember going to buy my first gun i was like a kid in a sweet shop ha
  23. Shame its so far away, im a tart and i love the look of Caesar Guerini guns but just dont know if i would buy one so days like this are great as people get to try before they buy J
  24. +1 for the lanber sporting deluxe, fantastic guns for the money
