Unfortunately I managed to put my Beretta away slightly damp and got rust in the bottom of the action. It cleaned up OK but the metal is slightly discoloured. Someone told me the material Beretta use is very hard and the metal won't clean up. Has anyone had a similar experience? Or can recommend a product to clean it?

If you can find one in your budget which you should be able to to do, I can recommend a beretta 687.

Thanks Killshoot. We already have a few wild mallard in the ponds on 3 of the drives and they fly well. Maybe just clearing out the ponds a bit and feeding may attract the wild ones without putting any down. There are a number of large estate lakes nearby which I presume is where they may come from.

Hi, We run a small DIY shoot, putting 600 down per season. We have several drives that contain ponds and we have been discussing adding ducks next year. Does anyone have any experience of doing a similar thing or can recommend any reading references so I can learn more. Cheers Graham

Many years ago I provided the RSPCAs mobile, landline and UK network. Their head office near Gatwick would put many investment banks to shame ( first place I ever saw Dyson airblades in toilets). Every year they upgraded all PCs to the latest and had the new iPhone and iPad every year. The way the head office got through money amazed me. I can't see how there was any left for animal welfare.

I've now decided to bin the cans and get a set of passive plugs as I keep catching the stock, even on the thin Howard Leights I have. Having had a good gander on here it seems there is not a lot between them, even the prices are roughly the same. Does anyone have any views on these?
