  1. I have no idea about the Birdcage muzzle if it had any advantage or not. I suppose you could class it as being ported so in theory would reduce muzzle flip. But all nonsense and in my opinion looks a ugly as sin! As for the tri-rail.... You pretty much fit anything to it that has a picinitay attachment. Grips, pods, lights, lazers etc.... Search back in this thread you will see pictured my mates 590 "big ed" who has got all sorts attached to his forend rail.
  2. Get the solid muzzle not the bird cage one. The non tri-rail is nice to pump as you have more surface area to grab. However the speedfeed stock is a nice touch. Tough call
  3. £80 + vat They are at the shooting show this weekend if you are there? If you decide to get your impressions locally and send them in, they will deduct the cost of what you paid for your impressions off that price. Doing my research they are the cheapest / most regarded product. Never heard a bad word on them, they are supposed to be the best filter plug (without electronics) for having a normal conversation. Better than the sonic valves in my opinion as they also protect your ears from other harmful frequencies not just shooting. Good for me as I also ride a motorcycle.
  4. The carbon rib is on the model called the Power Bore. Silver action, better grade of wood & of course the carbon rib. Think it's going to be around £2k
  5. Hi Darren, I would prefer face to face, but if it hasn't sold in a while I would consider RFD'ing it. However I will also be at the shooting show on Friday....
  6. Does anyone know if the bolt is removable? If so, how does one go about doing it? Cheers, Mark
  7. So my brother has got the new 2014 Benelli Raffaello Black in 26" All I can say it's truly fantastic!! I have the M2 while it's very similar it's better in my opinion. They have fixed the stiff shell stop and it's a breeze to reload. The progressive comfort stock seems to be better than the comfort-tec stock. Anyone thinking of getting this gun.... Get it. It's wonderful
  8. Mine doesn't like 2.5" too much, it will cycle them but expect a 30-40% stoppage rate.
  9. Thought about just getting two U2's? Looks like B725 owners happen to be Maxus owners too
  10. By the sound of thing you should be fine for the odd pheasant shoot, as long as your not putting thousands of cartridges of no.5 or below through them??
  11. I have one and love it Here's one I've found. http://m.gunstar.co.uk/browning-bps-12-bore-gauge-shotgun-for-sale-in-kent/Shotguns/639902
  12. The 12G certainly was, was balanced awkwardly but was something you could get used to in time. However the 410 is still very light and pointable. It is around 50" in length but you wouldn't know. You can shoot & swing with gun like any other. I would urge people to go try one out / pick one up and think they would be surprised.
  13. I used to own a hushpower 12G Mossberg pump action. I now own a Baikal .410 hushpower gun. Obviously the smaller bore the quieter it will be, the 410 is the quietest in the range. Single barrels are also quieter over pumps, and anything with a full length moderator will be quieter again. The Baikal .410 hushpower conversation is said to be at around 80% noise reduction where as the screw on silencer is around 60%. How quiet the thing will depend of your cartridge. A friend and I tested many different cartridges and the quietest were the Hull Game & Clay cartridge 2.5". Then about the same, but marginally louder were the 3" eley subsonics. Using the above two cartridges at around 50-60m you will struggle to hear anything. Getting distance is the biggest thing, many people are unimpressed with the 410 hushpower because it's still quite loud at the breach end (shooters perspective). Move further away and you will find its inaudible over normal background noise. I have fired my 410 in my back garden with no one inside the house realising I have done so. There is also a .410 Hushpower review in this months or could be last months now.... Gunmart magazine. If you after a garden gun then I would recommend it. There is also the Bretton & Gaucher G12, however I've been told it's not as quiet as the Baikal .410

  18. Never seen an enlarged bolt handle for a 9200. Only for the 930 - 935. Had a quick look about the net now and couldn't find anything. Sorry.
