    Sky lanterns

I'm Partner of a Boat yard and we and other mariners in our area have had a bit of trouble with them landing on boats and either setting fire to the sails or burning the decks. They do look pretty flying around but they are a pain and most people who buy they don't seem to think about what happens when they are out of sight.
  2. Good morning all, Myself and my brother in-law are looking for some land to work/help out on. We are around the Ipswich and Claydon area and are looking to work his ferrets and get some pigeon shooting in while we are there. If anyone has any ideas or hears of any land I would be really great full of a thought towards me. Many thanks Yogi
  3. That's and awesome bag! Makes me really excited to get out there, I just don't know where there is yet... lol
  4. Awesome great work. I had my first time Ferreting the other week and loved it. Mind you we only bagged one in the few hours we were there Yogi
  5. That's great everyone, thanks for your help. Wildfower, I think you may have sold it to me with the dog training. No I haven't been wildfowling before but I'm keen to try all types of shooting and this is something I have had my eye on since getting my licence. Yogi
  6. Good afternoon all, I'm looking to join a Wildfowling club in or near Ipswich, Suffolk. The two I have come up with are the North Suffolk Wildfowlers and Colchester Wildfowlers. As I have said in my welcome post a few days ago I haven't been shooting that long (about 8 or 9 months) and what I'm looking for is a club that will be welcoming to a new shooter who may not know all of the ins and outs of Wildfowling. I have had a brief email chat with the NSW but nothing was really mentioned to the helping of a new shooter. (well that's how I read it). So I'm posting on here to hopefully find and talk to some members of each of the clubs so I can see which would be best for me i.e. travel, cost, Friendly members etc.. Many thanks Yogi
  7. Thanks Mat I hadn't seen that.

  9. Hi all. I'm new to PW and I've joined hoping for a bit of guidance and experience really. I've been shooting clays for about 8 months and at the beginning of the year made the jump to game. As I'm a beginner I've brought a second hand Webley & Scott 912 over under which I love. I've also started ferreting with my brother in law (which we are both new too) and in the last 3 weeks I've got myself a cocker puppy to (hopefully) train as a working dog. Any way just thought I'd say hi and sorry now for any stupid questions. Thanks Yogi
