what would be the cause of both the barrels fireing on a double trigger side by side , when only one trigger is pulled.
thanks

frizzy coat is not good , shes a good lucking bitch
Anyone ever noticed their bitch slowing down after being speyed , just curious as i read an article in a old book , said possible ruination of a good working bitch was to spey her .
or maybe they were just talking about loosing the chance to breed from such dogs.

following on from the castration post.
i,d like to know if any one as seen any changes in there bitches working ability etc since speying , also body changes.
i have a 3 year springer who as phantoms after every season , which dont bother me really , but thinking more of her and long term.

i use battles black , just a drop per watering can and brush away and leave to dry .
it works well to freshen things up too , much better than any of the house hold disenfectants i,ve tried

i think my old collie had a stroke this morning , at least i think thats what happened , she s comfortable but very quiet .
is there anything i can do for her .
is there anything a vet can do to help her.
i dont want her messing about with . but i do want to do the right thing by her , she is 13 and been the most loyal dog ever looking after my family and kids , and house .
i owe her big time.
years ago i had a yellow lab who stroked several times and recovered for a while longer . back then the vet filled her with steriods but they made her internals deteriate even faster and we had her PTS several months later . i,m just hoping she pulls through naturally

heres another question - if my 96 tdi300 discovery as the original alternator , will it be 65 amp or 100 amp
if its 65 is there any advantage upgrading it to 100.
i am replacing it any way as its not charging battery and rev counters dead
thanks again

both legs done on my springer £4000+ per leg cruicate ligaments and then more probs after , but get a vets opinion please.
if you hear clonking and i have in my dog , it turned out to be a miniscus tear in the knee joint ligament , it flaps about and sounds loud like a piece ot wood knocking together and its very painful for the dog too.
rest first , but a good vet should be able to manipulate the joint in such a way to get the right diagnosis

serpintine belt on a discovery 1 300tdi
how do i change/take off the serpintine alternator etc belt on my 96 plate 300tdi .
i cant see any way it comes off , do i need to take the cooling fan off or the cowl from the radiator or both
is there a how to guide anywhere
thanks

With regard to lead-acid batteries my local scrap dealer doesn't take them any more, the recycling costs outweigh the value of the lead inside them. 1989/1990 i used to get 50p per battery.
thats a shame these batteries are really heavy around 30 kilo guesstimate.
can i cut the lead out myself :yp:

thats weird - i thought it was just me
i lost my fav hat for 3 days last week , looked everywhere , convinced i,d left or lost it while beating . it turned up one of my springers had it in its bed , still in perfect order
no idea how that happened
but boy was i delighted

TD -- how heavy are you . how tall are you. how old are you
STOP WHINGING!!!
i,ve struggled all my life and still struggle with weight i,m 5ft10 and nearly 20st
i have the same disc problem as you and a lot more issues besides , i take various painkillers to get by day by day.
dig deep and please find the will power , join a gym and if it hurts tough , just do a little and often until you feel like your progressing .
change your diet a little at a time and go for it.
thats what i,m doing anyway , some days it hurts too much but rest then carry on , after excercise i feel a whole lot happier inside
you are the only one holding you back , think to the future and make a new start this new year , DONT be a burden on the NHS

same here looking for a working springer calendar , but the only ones i can see are american show dog types

i,ve noticed this before and sometimes have to stand still until my dog as marked me (so to speak) .
but other day was out beating in woodland , very heavy cover the dog was working well though a few more yards in front than i would of liked , but she was on the scent and finding birds .
anyway i call back and she comes in my direction but looks confused as to where i am and then goes and latches on to the next beater in line , i had to stand still and call to her several times before i was spotted.
i,ve noticed this before with both my bitches , we all wear green coats and hats etc and looks like thier having some confusion in picking me out amongst the other dozen or so.
so do any of you wear anything different etc so that your dogs can identify you straight away
thanks

strange![:hmm:](https://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/uploads/emoticons/default_hmm1.gif.pagespeed.ce.14qswzkL09.gif)
and dont worry it would be a gunsmiths job to sort it , just wondered if it was going to cost big money
