Try tuna in sunflower oil with boiled rice always seems to loosen my dog up when he's a bit compacted. Heard it on a shoot one day and it works.

Go for a springer or cocker more suited to rough shooting or beating and charming to watch, they seem really happy all the time..

Hi everyone. I've got a 3 year old springer and sometimes more recently he seems to be taking an un healthy sexual interest with pillows and duvet covers or anything material, just wondering if this is a stage they go through or measures might have to be taken eg castration. It just seems to be more apparent recently, I know my neighbour has a young bitch spaniel could it be she's in season and he's picking up the scent? Any help will be very appreciated. Hi Everyone, Just thought I'd say hello, I've been shooting for over ten years all sorts pigeon/game and done a bit of ferreting in my time and now breaking into wildfowling. I also enjoy beating and working my springer spaniel, I look forward to reading the topics and sharing stories with like minded people.
