Just for info, my interpretation of the 'roll back' / restore point is that it rolls back system type operations such as installation of new software etc. I don't think it will effect personal files as it were. TRY THIS: On the search option: Start Search For Files and folders Search Options Tick Date Enter window dates around when your daughter got on the PC This should show files that have been modified in this date window

I think in the folder options its under the View tab. Show hidden folders and files Got old windows at work, vista at home!

Go to: Control panel Folder Options Show hidden folders Then search away The other one is Start Scroll to the right and there is a "my recent documents" option

Another thing to try is to go to recent documents, if the files have been open recently then you can get to them there and then find their location from this.

Well its been a while, been really busy with one thing or another! Thought I would make an appearance to say hello and make an effort to come on her more often. As an update, the little man is now 7 weeks old and growing fast, will have him in the great outdoors soon enough!!
