yes the battery is fantastic lasting about 40 hour at least mine does with usb port its the ir that eats the batterys but i get positioned like tonight been out see where all the rabbits run in this time old railway line park up looking down the line at a slight angle and switch off not long before they come back out and just start knocking them off like a game of skittles shot 19 tonight without moving the car that way you are doing pretty intense clearance in a 60 yard range cheeky ******* were coming out behind me but could not get the shot at them that thermal xp 38 is some tool what we wood have given for that 40 years ago i need a stripped down diesel landrover for all round shooting window flat door tops of any way any info on a thermal with good reticule the atn works great all u have to do is dot the eye speak soon

thanks rewulf all i was thinking was once i cud try something i could flog my xp 38 spotter and just shoot on thermal scope but i am happy with the night scope as night vision goes the thermals i have seen do not have a good hold on place and completly blocks out a rabbits head let alone to see the eye my atn is the 4k 5x20 but as said before the ir eats batterys for me to sit out for 4 to 5 hour and shoot a hundred rabbits is not unusual if you get up this way and fancy a shot let me know cheers george

hi all been back to shooting rabbits rather than watch telly so got a thermal spotter park up and stay still spot with thermal and shoot on a atn night scope but the ir eats batterys so thought maybe a thermal scope does 2 jobs in one once you are set up my market wants good head shot rabbits even for dog food with the atn i have a lovely dot and i say to people having a shot dot the eye meaning just that but the themal scopesi have seen does not seem to give a good pinpoint hold on dot to cover a rabbits eye at about 60 yards so anybodys using a thermal with good pinpoint reticule if so name and make please thanks george

as a rfd in the durham area i get asked regular and take out 2 rifles when shooting lots of rabbits and the answer is i use one with day scope and then one with night scope and formally ask the officer if they want to come for me to prove it my people then get the variation😅😅😅

whent out last night to get some rabbits for dog food shot some monsters but some had mixy if you see a rabbit with mixy how long does it take for them to get over it as you often see the scaring about the eyes when they have had it so different lads tell me to leave them and they get over it because shooting with night vision cannot realy see it till you pick it up but then its to late for me i would sooner shoot them to put them out of there misery what you think people cheers george

before i put a cartridge on the market at the moment i am working on a cart called pure fibre meaning just that no plastic 6mm discs and took them to a well know estate last weekend near hampshire i used a 2 and 34 chamber 18 .4 on the bore and three quarter choke and i was very proud on using them on high flighting pigeons these after 6 months of ballistics in factory and shooting this game season are ready to go i will admit i hate fibre but its the way things are going but carts have to be field tested but after 9 years of giving carts out you will be suprised how many people dont even thank you or report back i might as well stand on a corner and give five pound notes away so i am away now to do 3 estates in scotland and maybe get a bit o pigeon shooting cheers george

my machine loads 12000 per hour but on fibre i run at 8000 per hour nice and slow why to get good accurate cartridges produced the over powder card is mostly to blame tipping on edge 4 carts a second is fast enough for me and lifting a slab every 1 minute and 20 seconds to put on pallet is quite ample for me on a good shift of 80 000 good acurate loads is all i need let the others do what they want i can also buy the 15000 machine but i dont want it to run that fast cheers george

well i shoot a gold e with 3 inch chamber i shoot black ringed choke in top this i am told is 3 quarter at a measured 40 yards then i have a very old snipe made in the sixties this is 2 and three quarter in chamber and 3 quarter in both barells the old snipe put 14 more pellets on the paper using my 36 gram 4s called pure fibre the shots were as best on steadyness as i could do freehand and not bolted down as per my test barell my test barell is 3 inch and the pressure are 650 bar speed 391 at v2 the only way for pressure is now to do a penatration test on my 500 sheets of fax paper from tescos and see if one cartridge breaks more sheets than the other yet the new gun from browning i am told is 76mm chamber any way i am looking for a set of 30 inch 2 and 3 quarter barells in 680 serious cheers george 07712 323 909

thank you for that reply now can i ask you have you done a pattern test with your two different guns with the different chambers but using the same carts in the different guns and compared the pattern to each other as i had heard this this is why i put the question on here now mr teague made that above statement who works with barells allthe time
