I am returning to clay shooting after many years, when I shot trap disciplines.
This time around I would like to try Skeet. The only local venue I know of is West Midland Shooting Ground, or are there others. Ideally I would like to find somewhere to practice and get to know the discipline. Rather than compete at this stage.
Thanks for any advice.

I watched some pundits earlier saying how Jnr wants to get out of the shadow of his father.
Chris Snr being a showman.
Enter Jnr, who steps into the ring dressed as Santa Claus. Followed by all the showboating.
He is a good boxer and out boxed Williams. Possibly going on to be a world champion but can't take to him .

Yeoman will be a double trigger?
I would of been using a single trigger O/U.
When I informed Hull they contacted the shooting ground where I purchased the slab and credited me with equivalent of what I paid. You can't beat that for service.
It may just of been a rogue production run.

Hull Comp X are a nice, low recoil cartridge. Not the fastest I believe, but they've served me well on clays.
I had problems with the Hull Comp X not producing enough
recoil to set the second barrel.
I think they were quite new at the time so things may have changed.

I'll be voting for someone other than Conservatives at the next election, I also could never bring myself to vote for Labour, libs, or the greens so it'll be a smaller party, I also expect to see action taken by the police if its proved he and other politicians broke the law. If not, I will log a complaint and write to my MP.
I remember somebody being very upset about an issue. So much so, this chap said he would write to his M.P.
I always remember the advice he was given by the old sage he was talking to.
"Don't waste your stamp lad".
Still makes me chuckle.

I feel sorry for Boris ( don't boo me , I know this mess is all his own fault) . I feel sorry for him , and I feel disloyal for saying its his own fault , and that he deserves all he gets.
With brexit and covid under his belt , the country should be carrying him on their shoulders ,erecting statues in his honour , and having national Boris day . Instead , he'll be leaving number 10 with his head bowed , because he just couldn't stop being a damned fool.
I'm not angry Boris, I'm just disappointed.
Likewise.

I have a nice 16 bore which I've had for a while and decided to put into use.
Intended use, sporting clays, the very occasional game day.
It's quite tight at 1/2 & 3/4 and was thinking of having it opened out a little but with steel in mind. What would be a good combination.
I had a quote of £95 + vat for the work.
Thanks for any advice.

You will have more luck in the wanted section.

Keep going Boris, you're playing a blinder.

It would seem the decent thing to do after changing your colours.

Last time I called a lady called Helen appeared in charge in the gun room.
I am talking about Wynnstay.

We appear to be getting these drip fed stories, in the hope of causing maximum damage to Boris. It has to be Cummings and his sympathisers behind it.
I used to have a lot of time for Cummings, if he is responsible for this. Okay he had a beef with Boris but to damage the party as a whole is shameful.

Very nice indeed.
Will he have a ring.

Well he's made it into 2022, many thought he would be gone by now. Most of the Tory bashing newspapers and broadcasters are still trying.
Putting the parties at number 10, aside. A lot of the decision making, particularly around C-19, he damned if he does or doesn't. No win situation.

You have to pick an individual out for each shot!
You are correct from my experience but the several hundred that crossed me overhead were wing to wing.
If I am ever in that position again, I will take your advice.
Thanks.

That’s a very good ratio JD. There’s just something about being in a wood on your own, just standing there, listening and looking.
Agreed, looking, listening is a privilege.
I remember a cloud of several hundred pigeons lifted from a nearby field and came over me.
Both barrels fired, thinking two or three would drop. No, just one and it was a runner which I had to chase and caught.

I kinda remember reading that her father Robert had a good war.

What would you use if you didn't have or run out of the 5.6mm. If you don't mind my asking.
Thanks.

Ive got an old webley senior, it’s lovely to shoot and spits .22 eley wasps out at 400fps. Much nicer than the later models.
Is that modern day Wasps or do you have the older type, which I
think were ever so slightly a different size.
Thanks.

Looks nice.
Can you still buy lead happy.
