Sorry if this has been covered before.
Following a near miss and having heard the crash for cash stories. I am thinking of getting one. Just a basic model or it would be worth more than the car.
Thanks in advance.

Thank you.
Pure as in ready made up.

It took a minute, long enough for me to check.

Boiling your rabbit , was referring to glen close in fatal attraction (it's a very old film now).
I'd risk it though , I can always buy another rabbit 😆.
She may have two rabbits in the dress by the look on it Mel. Waiting for you.

I had a BSA in.25 only used it for plinking, great fun. I enjoyed the ease of handling and loading the larger pellets.
It would of been okay in and around outbuildings but sub 12lbs couldn't think of any other use, for my capabilities.

I gave up on BASC after the lead fiasco. I wouldn't want free membership after that.

Very tempted.

I still intend having the odd round of clays. Just not as many. Air pistol or even rifle to fill in between.
Figgy is spot on with his maths.

Hi,
A round of clays will become a luxury.
Thinking about an air pistol to fill in the gaps. Fancy a springer. Is there anything that comes close to a HW these days.
Thanks for any advice.
Thanks gents, still thinking about the city park hitting clays. Not a make I am familiar with.

I bought a fly rod a while back. After spending a day cutting tangles out of my line I decided that it’s not for me. 😂
I got all the gear, paid for one to one lessons. Even joined a club. Hooked my cap, shirt, grass behind me, far bank, air knots. Just couldn't get it and sold the lot.

The dust / powder is bloom which is responsible for pigeon lung. Which some pigeon fanciers contract.

Hi,
I know they were two sons of a well respected Sheffield knife maker.
Just trying to find out what sort of quality R&R produced. I have seen one of their knives for sale second hand. It's a Bushcraft type.
Thank you.

Nice idea to clap this evening but I would of thought the funeral day would of been even better.

If fox hunting goes, the emphasis will very quickly move on to game / pigeon shooting. Eventually fishing, I hope that I am very wrong.

How easy are the maxus semis to clean and how often do you need to clean the gas ports?
My last semi was a franchi so minimal cleaning was required
Cheers pete
May I ask why you decided to go with the Maxus. I only ask as always considered buying a Franchi.
Thanks.

I find he is only so nice to people when he wins.
If he doesn't one word answers to the press can't get away quick enough like a petulant child.

I'm old school, love wax cotton and for what they cost these days for non barbour you could have a new one twice a year and still have change from a fifty.
Good point and if ripped on wire it wouldn't spoil your day.
