  1. The other thing you could look at would be charity work, you might be a danger to yourself and others doing practical stuff but a couple of days a week doing charity work might help or like Norfolk dumpling says look at part time jobs, bar work is amazing in the right kind of pub. Then there is going back to college while you have the time look at short courses on electronics before you change any more switches ☺

  2. I was just going to say the same as old un, I was working before my official redundancy date but I'm only a machinist guessing if your in banking that your on a different kind of contract but u could go with what clakk said whilst sorting your next role he certainly sold the idea to me!

  3. I've been on gardening leave, I was at a place that was closing but we still had to be available incase we were called in to do a job, got plenty of gardening done and sorted the next job whilst still being paid so it worked out.

Enjoy the time off so long as your getting money in the bank it's free holidays

  4. This is going to be a can of worms, I have a Tasco varmint on my Rapid 7 think it's 6*24 and it's got parallex adjustment but it's probably too much really great scope and around 15 years old now but wouldn't go that high on the mag if buying a new one.

Also the parallex come range finding on it is good but means you can be out of focus if you need to take a quick shot at 20mtrs and the scope is set on 35.

Sure lots of folk will be on soon with more up to date info but less fiddling would be the way I'd go.

  5. Going back to the original post pic, was it a no questions asked deal the aluminium looks like left overs from machining or scrap cnc parts or is Ali just not very expensive when weighed in? Did they ask what grade it was or just generalised as aluminium?

  6. I don't do face ache either, we do a similar thing for rugby.

We use WhatsApp you can set up a group control who has access post pics videos and as you said everyone gets the msg saying we start at ten!

It's phone based and works great

  7. Wow that looks good bit pricey tho.

I found a new raw food place at the weekend loads of choice very good price wise and cheap delivery in the north west, take a look.

You can also buy in store and get better deals than shown on line.

    Raw-feeders.co.uk

    There in Adlington near chorley

  8. I was thinking why would someone need all those camera's then I kept reading and feel really Lucky to have good neighbours over the years, there are some strange people out there it's just a shame they can't mind their own business.

Good luck to all of you living by crazy people.

  9. I still can't decide if its just hype for the publicity, couldn't imagine it being a proper sanctioned fight to count for the record and yes MW has the experience but so did Aldo, I was really looking forward to that fight and it never even got going!

As DM says its no brainer for Conner but apart from more money I don't see how it benefits Mayweather

  10. Hi, there was another thread running a bit back, what's your favourite gadget might have said non shooting gadget quite a funny read but someone had definitely bought a router and was learning cad cam

  11. Could be worse sounds like your describing my father in law and I have to let him in the house!!

Maybe speak to the son without evidence let him know you have put up cameras as the behavior needs to stop you might get lucky and nip it in the bud???

  12. Might not be practical but I have double doors between living and dinning room but they are on a slide at the top and are hidden when open, think of a double green house door.

No hinges and you don't need to leave the area of swing clear but you need to do the false wall

  13. I haven't seen much of it this year due to my shifts, normally watch it with the wife tutting at the so called perfect examples of the breeds, I used to live near the fella who got his large Munsterlander to the final and that was a lovely dog.

I have just read in todays sun about caddie the yellow lab an autistic assistance dog which has changed a little lads life completely its for things like this we watch it, looks a nice dog unlike the one that won a while back.
