  1. I never knew that. I shoot on some of his land and have done for years before he bought it.
  2. I gave Lincs good reason after 3 months and they opened it. Just had to make a suitable case.
  3. How long have you owned it? Is the remainder of the seven year warranty transferable do you know?
  4. think they look cracking in orange. ive just inherited my dads 1987 W & C Scott 'Chatsworth' 12bore. its a cracking gun made at the time Holland and Holland owned them. he had it made for his 21st birthday. he was 5,10 and 12st. im 6ft odd and 16st. think ill get a silvers best london orange fitted to it so it fits me better.
  5. my experience with lincs is as follows. i applied for a coterminous shotgun and firearms cert last year for 1 shotgun, 1 .22lr and a 6.5x55mm. mid march they received my application. visited me early july and promised certificates end of july but they didnt arrive due to an error with something on the paperwork (on their side). i ended up driving there to collect them at beginning of sept. put a variation in in mid dec for a .17hmr and a 2nd 6.5x55mm. collected the new FAC mid feb. generally spoke directly to one of two FEO's directly on there mobile, both very helpful at all times. one of them even popped into the next county to check some land for me to get it agreed for 6.5x55mm, as he was only 20mins away from there and said itd be easier for him to do it than me try to arrange humberside to do it. as it happens him approving the land for that calibre was a bit pointless, the restrictions on my first FAC granted in sept were removed as requested at the time the variation was done in december. on the whole i think ive faired better than many other people.
  6. I live in Nettleton and never knew either!
  7. Yeah I'm busy at the minute so unlikely I'll get mine before April and probably unlikely I'll get to fire any before May!
  8. Could you ping me an email please?
  9. Any chance of someone posting a pic of the box just some I'm doubley sure I'm collecting exactly what I think I should be? Thanks. Sam
  10. Good stuff! Love muntjac stalking, its my bread and butter stalking quarry round here. only ever shot muntjac and a single red stag. hopefully get a few roe on a trip to aberdeenshire soon though!
  11. thanks all not far at all, done a few jobs in louth. work in grimsby but live in caistor.
  12. Yeah I didn't think it was bad at all for the (expected) quality of cartridge. Place in Brigg didn't have any in or even heard of the pro game but said they'd phone hull and find out. True to there word they phoned me back after 5 mins, I asked for and got a bit of discount on there quoted price, End result they're getting them in next week for me.
  13. Hi all. Been shooting since I can remember. Mainly deer stalk and game shoot but looking to do more claying and pigeon shooting this year. Work in north east Lincs but live just inside Lincolnshire. Do most of my shooting Lincoln way on. Have a .22, .17hmr, 2x 6.5x55 and 2x 12bore. Fancy getting a semi this year to add to the collection. All the best, Sam
  14. Fancied getting some of these as I thought they're worth a go at £60 a slab for 30g 7's copper coated. Phoned York Guns today as I'm passing there next week. Said they weren't going to get anymore 7's in but they had a few 6's in for £295/1000. As I'm passing Sheffield on Monday tried a guy there who again only had 6's but for £232/1000. He was adamant they weren't copper coated though. Ended up getting someone in Brigg to get me 1000 in 30g 7's for £240. Looking forward to trying them.
