  1. oh yeh I've seen this, it helps you with the amount of mil dots and hold under/over, and this only comes with Hawke scopes?
  2. Obviously to start I'll be at the range and doing some plinking and simply getting used to airgun shooting before I go out on a perm, once I get one that is but luckily I know someone that has horses so I can use their field when horses are elsewhere, so definitely rabbiting and getting used to the various ranges that comes with hunting. What I will ask your advice though is regarding a scope, is it easier to set up with an AO scope, like eye relief etc, and getting a wider field of view like a 44mm or 50 objective?
  3. Ok, .177 to start with, not sure about pellet yet until I run them through some groups (allegedly the gun likes air arms diablo), yes as low to the barrel as its easier to zero for accuracy isn't it? This chairgun malarky mate, I have no idea what you're on about, I'm a newbie remember, lol..deffo a Hawke though yeah?
  4. addition, I cant wait a month without going to club, I cant keep going there without one, lol. when ru inviting me up on your perm then, lol
  5. Hi, Does anyone own an Air Arms S510 TDR in this forum, reviews on YT seem excellent but unsure of their bias, owner reviews cannot be beaten? If so, can you please let me know what it's like, and what scope you use, If I purchase the gun I'd like to use a lightweight scope to keep in with the theme of the gun itself. Been looking into the Nikko Sterling Mountmaster series, so gonna carry on with some reviews now.
  6. Great thanks, they do seem to have good reviews and the pricing is awesome, and is the AO good?
  7. Hey all, good day to you. I need a small lightweight scope to go on a AA S510 TDR to stay in theme with the weight of the gun, dont want to pay a fortune something like below or an equivalent would be ok. And yes for all of you that have seen my previous posts I am still getting the FX and that already comes with an Airmax 30SF so just need one for the lighter rifle, any suggestions would be great, thanks. http://www.uttings.co.uk/p103341-nikko-stirling-mountmaster-4-12x50-ao-ir-rifle-scope-nmmi41250ao/#.Wst6Iy-ZMcg
  8. Hey Phil, just a few developments have occurred since, I opted out of the Impact and have now ordered a Crown
  9. I nearly went for the firefly version of the newer r-10 se, very nice to shoot too, I shot both that and a ultimate sporter. really like the S510 TDR
  10. Air Arms are quoting this gun to 40 shots per fill in .22 and .177, watch this review and this guys has achieved over 80, how can AA oversee the amount like that? I guess id be worried if anything went wrong as both those versions had their issues, at least with a new gun I get a lifetime warranty and parts and about totally free as well if anything does go wrong. Cornwall?
  11. The only thing stopped me going for the s510 us, was the 60+ shot count, now users do say it is closer to 70, however. Also been looking at the really cool looking s510 tdr, what a cool looking gun.
  12. Funny you say that I'm about to pull the trigger on either the 400 or the 410, I cannot wait a month without a gun or I might just say #### it and get the one I really loved shooting, the s510 ultimate sporter, absolutely loved shooting it.
  13. I'll definitely be trying hard.
  14. I didn't mean 100% MORE, what I meant was according to pro reviewers this gun is the most accurate they've shot, I worded it wrong, I work in a prison, not an English grammar teacher, not heat seeking but I do get 3 tins x500 of my choosing, plus bipod at £79 and BSA bag which is priced at £59 and along with the deal for the scope and air bottle too, cannot be more chuffed. Look out for the 50 yd groups I'll post with my very first shots with the rifle, regardless of how new I am, it'll no doubt be the gun. All the gear and no idea, but....I will learn and I have excellent eyes and a steady hand, so hopefully it won't be long before I bag my first pests.

    Choices?

yes they're extremely difficult to get a hold of, all over apparently
  18. I'm not quite paying that as Ive bought a package with a scope, bag, bottle, targets, pellets, bipod etc, got an awesome deal
  19. Afternoon all, without me delving forums and internet does anyone have any experience on the basis of which shooting insurance to go with as from what I gather the 2 main ones (basc) and (basa) have considerable different costings, is there a particular reason for this, and what benefits does each give?
  20. That blue is so sweet but I resisted temptation and went with the more camo option of the Forest Green Yeah of course, I'll be too excited not to Another good review too.

    Choices?

absolutely, I have on order a Crown for May
  22. yeah, I have thought about a scope cam when I get a perm and I can shoot well, and at night really like the NiteSite systems for ratting and rabbits after dark that is sweet mate fair do's, especially leaning against something instead of benching
  23. I was so close to picking the pulsar myself, why do you have 2 guns, I feel I had some grief on here for thinking of getting 2 myself?
