  4. Thanks for the replies. I guess I shouldn't be surprised really Beats sitting in summer traffic jams getting to the shoots, will definitely give it a go then!
  5. Feel free to move if in the wrong section! So, it's that time of year again, the bike is going through it's MOT ready for some fair weather riding Where do I stand transporting my gun if I am on the bike? I've seen some pretty good bike mounted gun cases in the US and was tempted to bring one back next time I'm over... It would be mostly travelling direct from home to a shoot. No leaving unattended. Any one ever done it? Anyone know the rules?
  6. On a jolly boyz bike trip to Spain I rode 50 miles before realising my front brake calliper was hanging off... the missing bolt was an M10 Try finding an M10 bolt on a Sunday afternoon in rural Spain!!!

I guess you mean Clevedon? Contacted both a while back in my search for opportunities. No response from either. I know Clevedon has a waiting list.

    Wildfowling

I am looking for some advice regarding wildfowling opportunities in my area. Having been shooting for a few years now (target, clays and pheasant), I decided I wanted to take up a new challenge. Standing on a peg all day waiting for cannon fodder to be driven over is not my thing. I have tried and enjoyed walked up/rough days and much prefer this. I would like to move into wildfowling, I see this as much more challenging (and I like duck). Does anyone have any recommendations of wildfowling clubs/opportunities in the Bristol(ish) area? Any clubs to avoid? Anything to look for? Naturally, they would need to be newbie friendly as I have no wildfowling experience..... All advice gratefully received (but be gentle)
