Good shoot today as they mixed it up a bit with some of the English Open stands & a few softies for the southerners :unsure: Though I missed more on the softies than anything cus were not used to shooting straight at things at Hodnet & Doveridge Well done all the Northen soul boys, I just hope we have not scared them off for next year, Well Shot Mick in our squad not a bad score even though you have not shot CLAYS for "2 YEARS"

Take another day off tomorrow and come and shoot the police shoot at Doveridge, I will be there about 11ish. Dont worry about Hodnet because they have different courses and you proberbley put to much thought in to it after the E Open and missied in front. Is young Jay shooting on sat

Well done Rich & just think if you got your shooting order right in the field you would have walked B class They had me down for 86 & I know I counted 87 twice but they are not the brightest bulbs in the box there, cus I think they count the 0 in stand 10 as a loss if your not careful

Only 87 for me today, though I thought it was a good shoot to be fair. I always say you dont have to make it extream to make people miss them. Well shot all NORTHERN PW shooters keep it up for next sat they wont know wot's hit em :o :o

That was the toughest stand on the shoot as they was drifting way off to the right on saturday. Our squad finished on 1000 ex 1050 and we dropped 26 points on this stand. :blink: :yp: See you all at the big bash on the 29th Rgds K

Anni what time is your squad on ? The weather looks great for the shoot as it was last year so you will deffo have a good day on saturday. At least it will be better than Kegworth (not hard to do) :yp:

I know we have plenty of choice, but with coniston & whitfield both good venues it makes a refreshing change from the same old grounds each week. I am not complaining but when it's an 18 hour day it gets to you the next day. I think we will have to find a hotel next year Paul dont pack in shooting registerd shoots just jet just be a bit more selective where you shoot. regds K

We shot it on Saturday and it was a cracking shoot again this year. We managed to retain the trophy for another year it just a shame it's a 400 mile round trip from staffordshire.

Well shot JKO, I did a 9 on the last stand to finish on 89. If it had'nt been for missing them 4 easy birds on the first two stand then I would have had a good score. Glad you enjoyed them cartridges they certainly do patern well don't they. rgds K

What a day ! the wheels and everything fell off. Started on stand 10 & after shooting stand 15 I was 13 away. Nothing that u could'nt shoot with 1/4 & 1/2 today along with plenty of 8s & 9s shells. took the Miroku trap 3/4 & full way to much for today. And after the first 5 stands we just ****** about trying to shoot em early. They certainly can catch you out at Hodnet but don't worry I will be back for the big one on the 29th. I am just going to drink myself stupid on stella & thrash u all at Kingsley tomorrow. No well done all you PW shooters I was beaten or feel like I have been

Still sulking its fully booked Magman, Go tomorrow and take the lad evenif it's just for a look round, I was near there today so had a look and it looks like B said just keep your mind on the clays or else they will slip away. I also met someone who turned up on chance and got a no show, so he was able to shoot. Are you shooting Kingsley on sunday with the lad?
