Shoot Sporting layouts round the midlands. I hit 50% and enjoy the social aspect of shooting as much as the shooting itself.

Motorcycle sport spectating and drinking beer!!!

  1. My uncle has a 20 yr old 686s, nicest gun I've ever shot.....even nicer than my 90's 682 Gold. My uncle has a 20 yr old 686s, nicest gun I've ever shot.....even nicer than my 90's 682 Gold.
  2. Thanks...I've been wanting to know this for a while.....once again...Thanks!
  3. Just a gun that doesn't kick, that's a start.....I love the looks of Brownings/Miroku but Beretta's fit me better so I shoot them....enough said.
  4. Now that's a brilliant idea, though to be honest I can't remember ever seeing it.....every one I know who shoots a semi uses a breach flag.
  5. Leicestershire 1st Licence 6 weeks and renewal 9 days.......can't complain at that!
  6. It seems that new applications are slow but renewals are quick......I've been there.....luckily mine was only 6 weeks in total for my 1st Licence which certainly isn't the norm!
  7. I've done both many times.....The CLA is a spectacle that needs to be seen to believed....I had to go back for a 2nd day just see it all! The Midland is my favourite of the 2 as its just about the right size. Kelmarsh was too small, BASC Catton park just about right size but a pain to get to! I suppose it comes down to pick one and hope the sun shines!
  8. My took 9 days total......got visited by the FAC officer this morning new licence in his hand...... I've got to admit I was a tad suprised by the quick turn around..... Cheers to the Leicestershire Firearms Dept!

  10. When I got mine the 1st time I bought a new cabinet, bolted it down (took 3 attempts), sent my application off...and was crapping myself with paranoia that I'd be refused...... In the end I was visited by a Top Bloke who asked me a few questions about intended use and the overall security of my place.....and 2 weeks later my shiny new ticket dropped through the lettetbox....... It's 5 yrs later and I've just gone through the renewal process, took 9 days.....Job Done!
  11. Certainly looks like a Yankee version to me.......I'd be well chuffed as I'd be surprised if you see many guns that look as nice. The Stock looks very good....I'd be getting a stock sock if I was you, so you don't accidentally scrape it when taking it in & out of your Gun safe!
  12. I always carry mine...just in case I have to make a sharp exit..LOL!
  13. Just goes to show.....that they've got you what ever. I think it goes something like this.......If your happy, then that's all that matters...and The Browning People are happy because whether you've bought a Browning or Miroku or even a Winchester you've still bought a Browning and not a Beretta... It's Business not personal.....as one gun is just a unit on a sales report!
  14. As the post states I need to purchase a Beretta Hexagon Stock removal tool. Have tried the normal places, GMK, Beretta, Avalon Guns, Chris Potter Country Sports, Natchez shooting supplies etc..... But can't seem to find out exactly what it's actually called so can't seem source one.... Can anyone solve my problem?
