  1. cctv on wifi are a waste of time. As said the jammer or De-Authoriser have been around for a long time and the higher power ones can knock out a good area. it will knock out all wifi not just cctv cameras. if you have cameras have them hard wired in
  2. RIP A murder investigation has been launched after the bodies of two people were found at a shooting range in North Lincolnshire. Emergency services were called to an address on College Road, near Thornton Curtis, at around 3.40pm on Friday (July 14) following reports of a concern for safety. Upon arrival, the body of a man and a woman were discovered at the property. Paramedics attended the scene but both the man and woman were sadly pronounced dead at the scene. There was a large police presence around the White Lodge Shooting School, near Thornton Abbey, between Goxhill and North Killingholme from Friday afternoon. Several police vehicles were seen in the grounds and a tent was erected as forensic teams scoured the areas and inside the main building. https://www.grimsbytelegraph.co.uk/news/grimsby-news/murder-investigation-launched-two-people-8603367

  4. just put them on thingiverse https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5887279
  5. if you want i can 3d print you some. I t for mine i just got. see my thread posted earlier. some update for it on an adjustable charge bar
  6. i found on ali express a Turkish universal adjustable charge bar. its designed for the mec but fits perfick. its going in your old bowman press @enfieldspares.I will be moving your old charge bar to the other bowman i have acquired. some new life in the old girls to pass on to my son in many years time. my reloading setup is coming together slowly. Just awaiting Clay and game to get some 3" tps wads in (may be a while)
  7. if machining nylon have a hoover set to suck up the cuttings as they get long and stringy
  8. Im very new to the shooting scene and only just been out on my first shoot as a beater at the end of the season. One Gentleman shooting was making some outstanding shots and leaving others to fly by. I found out later he was only shooting 19g home loads in either a 16 or 20ga. He was picking his shots and leaving other for another day. Im learning on the clays at the moment. So when i do go shooting Birds. I want to be confident I make a clean humane kill. I don't want a cloud of feather or just to wing it. But I also dont wat to be spitting shot out while eating it lol. Im spend a lot of time reading and learning. watching and learning. but what ever i do I want to make sure Im safe. I would rather miss a few or not even take the shot and be safe and hit everything and be unsafe. I have a hell of a lot to learn. Watching some youtube vids from our cousin across the pond. more often the ethos is hit them hard and heavy with as much shot as poss. Though i do think they want them minced and tenderised before it hits the ground.
  9. 1st time I have ever been to the shooting show. barring a tiny stand for Hornaby nothing on reloading shotshells as others have said yes def the scopes and NV a big thing and air rifles. lots of used shotguns. I mainly went to see Raytrade and have a look at the wildfowler sxs and OU.
  10. I have 2 old bowman reloading presses. looking at them and some other old pics on google. it appears that its charge bar may be of the same dimensions of the MEC charge bar. The bar appears to be approx 1" or 25.3 mm+- square and the 2 charge holes 19mm/0.750 in Dia and 2.3mm/ 0.100 from the front edge. Im thinking of getting the mec universal charge bar of just the normal mec bars and bushings. I am just wondering if any of you could measure your mec bars to see how close this is and could i fit mec bars.. the bottle thread is the same as a mec. these bowman presses where made in the UK in the 1960s 1970s no longer in production since the 80s also after the external dimensions of MEC bushings This one is a pic off google showing a mec universal charge bar fitted
  11. thank you for that info I was thinking of just going between 8s and 6s in shot for this. just acquired another one with bits missing. Im going to have to make the de-priming ram from scratch. should not take much to get this up and running as well. when it gets warmer I may try and make some shot bushings on the lathe
  12. just testing out the 3d printed sleeves the other day. they seem to work very well. am i right in thinking the charge bar on this on is an adjustable one and not needing the bushings for the different shot loads
  13. I would apply soon than later with which ever force you come under. I am under Humberside police I started my process in August 2022. I gave my form to the Doctors. Then spent a couple of weeks chasing them up. only after a month for them to tell me my Dr wanted £120 to fill the form . so I went with Medcert. Medcert put my request in to my Doctor in September and they took 30 days to send my info back to Medcert. Medcert then sat on the paperwork for a month till they sent it to their own Doctor. It was not until the beginning of December I got my paperwork back. I immediately put in for my Grant with Humberside police. I Had my FEO visit on the 3rd Jan all went ok. I just spoken today with Humberside firearms office on the phone. They have all my paperwork its now with the Firearms Licencing manager to sign off . They did say its taking up to 22 Weeks But would not say from the application time or the FEO visit time. Based on the Table on average waiting times on BSAC site of 88 days this would have taken me to 7th March 2023 but with new Info 22 weeks from application this new possible date 12th May 2023 or from FEO visit 6th June 2023. these are approx. dates So going by worst case of June the whole process from the very start will have taken nearly 10 months
