Totally agree with Mr Grumpy. Iv`e eaten pigeon breast only from our area, I find a difference with pigeons that have been feeding on peas or grain. I once had a challenge with a couple of shooting buddies that we would never shoot any thing we wouldn`t eat back in the 70s. I once shot a seagull by accident, don`t try it it was the rankest stringiest meat I have ever eaten. That said I`m still here to tell the tale. (Silly things you do when you are young).

Yes it works fine. I haven`t put a pellet through it as I think they fired single headed slugs, but it cocks and fires.
