Get the fiesta courier or a vauxhall combo if you dont need to take kids in the back. The courier is 1.9 diesel does 60mpg, 90mph and will carry loads in the back. Cheap colmercial insurance helps too. Pretty reliable

To be honest with the right tyres any 2 wheel drive will tackle 4" snow with no problems

Land rover is like shredded wheat, you get the taste and wonder why you dont have one... Then you get one and remember why you dont eat them any more. Proper **** motors. Land rover havnt made a single good vehicle to date. Im had a series 3, a defender a 200tdi disco and a p38... All rubbish. I would rather go to work in a bowl of shredded wheat...

Buy a 2k defender then keep 3k back to repair it weekly. Winner!

£1500 dihatsu fourtrak. Better than a defender, half the cost and 3 times more reliable, 30mpg powerful, amazing off road and an easy 80mph so reliable, so strong, a favorite on the 4x4 scene for good reason. Ive had most and the fourtak stands out by a mile

bob300w, for your information (of which you pass comment without having it all) this was not a matter of disrespect to andy, in fact i didnt want to just turn up at andys address without getting in touch first. this was a case of wires crossed at some point where i was unable to call and nothing more. i think you are wrong to tar my generation with the same brush that you also wrongly tar me with and secondly wrong to make conclusions. i would encourage any shooters, mature or young to keep promoting what we all love in a positive way or else it could die out within only a few more generations.

thanks for all the replys its exactly the advice i was after, i have one dodgy neighbor and we dont get on since i caught him using a telescope to watch one of the rooms here with a 14 yr old girl in it.. i would expect him to get on the blower at the first chance he gets.. should i let the police know that i will be firing here as a pre warning?

i should mention that the field is mine

can anyone help me? ive done a search on google and basc sites, ive looked on here too. i live by a main road and have a field out the back maybe the size of 3 football pitches. i want to shoot my shotgun out there to aid my dogs training, i dont have a cap gun. just want to let off maybe 2-3 at a distance to see how my dog is coming along. any reason why i couldnt do this? there are 4 houses backing on to the land they may get a fright.
