Hes out the garden shooting can for hours. I would never have thought he would have liked them so much. Hes cost me a fortune in tape haha..

Hi all. I have some Bismuth Shot for sale. I have about 15 kilos in sizes 7 1/2, 7, 6, 5 and 3. These were commercial samples some of which are still in original containers. I am having a big clear out and these are surplus to requirements. I am in the Lincs area and would prefer buyer to collect due to weight. This also gives the buyer a chance to inspect the product. I am looking for £35 per kilo which is about half the price you would pay new from a shop (if you could find any for sale). Ideal for waterfowlers who reload. Feel free to message here or email me at admin@gunsandzen.com

Hi Guys, I've shot clays a few times and I've decided it's a sport I would like to get into. I'm from North Yorkshire and I was wondering if anyone knew of any clubs in the area (rather than just experience day type venues) I found one in Barwick-in-Elmet which seems excellent (£35 for 50 clays including instructor, gun hire and cartridges). You turn up for 3 of the instructor led sessions and then you can become a member if they think you're competent (I'm not a certificate holder) This is the kind of thing I'm after, and it's a very good option, but I was wondering if there's something very similar a little closer to home that someone on here may know of? In due course, I'd like to become a certificate holder and a club closer to home would mean that it's easier to go down the range on a Sunday if I get board if I do eventually own my own firearm/become a certificate holder. Cheers! Ian

Last Sunday was my first visit to Stocks Farm at Puddington it was a glorious afternoon with a little bit of wind to make the clays a little more interesting. I did a round of 75 and used the cartridges they sold and had a belter of an afternoon and hit around 3/4 of the clays. Today I did 75 again and was hitting well under half and tbh feel a little deflated The weather was nearly spot on the same, the chokes were the same (1/4 and 1/2) the only varying factor was the cartridges, last week I shot using the cartridges the ground sold these were 28g 7.5 (I think) steel shot plastic wad, today I shot using Eley Firsts 28g 7.5 fibre wad. I know you should never blame your tools but is this possibly where I have gone wrong?? I always though carts were carts stop making excuses and get on with it, but I would say my shot placements were the same as last week etc etc. Should I have been choked differently? Or am I looking too much into this and just had an off day? Any feedback as always is appreciated,
