mikee
As the title says, tomorrow is the first day of my DSC1 course at watton in good ole Narfolk, have spent the last few weeks reading the manual from cover to cover and back again and in between reading some very good stalking books kindly lent to me by that top gent Baldrick, been out punching paper with the .243 as much as possible, less than 1.5" groups out to 150yds, standing and kneeling off sticks has improved with the manufacture of some heavier sticks and a bit of practice from shotgun type patterns to about 2" groups now, i'll let you all know how i get on mikee

mikee
2 days done 2 to go, 10/10 on the safety test today, pretty much sailed the shooting test but pulled one on the 4" zero test so had to do it again but stuck 3 in the black 2nd go round, then put all 6 in the kill area prone, kneeling and then standing, very interesting range and facilities, we used the kynamco underground range at mildenhall and had access to the upstairs lounge which was done out like an African hunting lodge, big comfy chairs in a room with wilderbeast, kudu trophys etc on the walls and a big kynoch ammo display, very interesting place. Visual/species recognition test tomorrow, so i'd better get back to the photos, mikee
