Although to be fair, when I had a problem on my Clio the people on PW and the Toyota forum were more helpful than the Renault one! It was actually Blackbart who gave the best advice as he correctly guessed it was a relay which prompted me to send it to an electrical mechanic. mr lee Posted October 22, 2009 Report Share Posted October 22, 2009 No idea how old yours is but we have two here. The mrs V6 one and the offroader. The offroad one needs to have the tank dropped. The connections could be corroded and just need a run over with some sandpaper or emery paper and simple reconnect and vaseline on top to slow down further corroding issues. It isn't a hard job to do just a bind having to be right under the car. I swapped the tank on the little one and undid the 4 bolts that hold the tray and lowered the tank down on a car jack. there is room for moving it on the fuel lines too so that's a bonus. I hate to sound big headed , But , you cant Correctly diagnose a problem without telling us what the problem is , Reads high? Reads low ? Jumps up and down ? robmiller Posted October 24, 2009 Author Report Share Posted October 24, 2009 Have sorted! Basically......i filled it up........and it wouldnt go past 3/4 full! I filled it up again........and it filled right up! So that one is now remedied! However now......the exhaust isnt making pretty noises. Need to spend a few hundred quid on it to be fair!
