bigsam
hi flash, pigeons will decoy over maize but only in the winter when it has been harvested or mowed down . I have shot over mowed maize 5 times and the best bag was 43 and 37 ! However i dont know if 4 decoys will be sufficient i always use a rotary and at least a dozen deeks sam

P03
I've read about decoying in standing maize, the important thing is to get your decoys above the maize and have plenty of movement as the pidgy's will expect to see their fellow sky rats trying to balance on the top of the stalks. I suspect that when you've shot 'em they'll be ******* to find and god help you if you get a runner. :(
