CollioureII
Awesome man How much it cost you to do all that ? Looking to making something similar I bought 8 sheets of 8 x 4 feet 2x2 inch 10 gauge galvanised mesh. These cost 200 Euro, I used approx 200 feet of 2 x 2 inch boards which I cut out of 5x2 boards which I already had (2x2 boards are pretty cheap)...lock cost me 8 euro and bolts cost me another 8 euro. I made each section up (two sections on each side 8 x 6 feet each and each gable 6 x 4 feet)in the workshop and bolted them together, then just a matter taking out the bolts bring each peiece to where you want it and just quick assembling it.... Kennel cost me nothing as pretty easy to come by two plastic 40 gallon barrels (water proof, draft proof and they can't eat it) So all in all cost me 216 euro I got quoted 650 Euro to get a company to do it for me... Blackbart
Will it not COOK inside a plastic barrel in the summer ? The run looks good but i have never seen a plastic barrel used for anything to sleep in but chickens.
CollioureII
Will it not COOK inside a plastic barrel in the summer ? The run looks good but i have never seen a plastic barrel used for anything to sleep in but chickens. If it were that hot in the summer the dog would not be in the kennel in the first place........your point may be valid if I lived in Malaysia
