Dick Posted November 23, 2009 Report Share Posted November 23, 2009 OK The Sun....but, if I found a gun in my garden I would not touch it let alone take it to the Police Station....surely a 999 call and stand by it to ensure it stays there is the right course of action. Most Police don't do guns and walking into a Police Station and clattering one down on someones desk would scare the living daylights out of them and understandably so.....expecting to walk away before someone had made sure that this was a genuine 'find' would be optimistic to say the least.
