Sorry, I read the post as going out lamping for foxes with two lurchers, all the flushing stuff is bolt on as we know. All the best to them and i hope the cops are city boys - i'm out of this tf.

You shoot the foxes and the lurchers retive them  or do my dogs do the wrong job :hmm: They are sacked in the morning and signing on the dole  Vulpicide (nice username anyway) you are correct in different legitslation for scotland as you can control the foxes taking lambs or other farmers stock where as england can't

As per the title.

I've had an invite out foxing one evening from a friend and his two lurchers, under the lamp.

We plan to flush foxes and rabbits with dogs in order to protect game birds.

I will be taking my shotgun to dispatch any flushed quarry, and have the land owners permission to carry out the activity.

Am I hunting within the law?

GB

All sounds very foolish to me.

I hope you have a good solicitor. As your local wildlife protection police officer and the RSPCA are going to have a field day with you and your mate when you eventually get nicked.

All laws are open to interpretation. The Hunting Act 2004 is a very difficult bit of legislation to interpret. However the police wildlife protection team and the RSPCA have some very expensive legal people just waiting for an opportunity to make an example of some chancer and his mate, who thought they could go have a chase and work around the statue book.

Just remember they don't have to catch you at it in order to prove their case. <_<
