Ricko
I bought my last Landy in 2003 1977 LWB diesel with o/d fwh etc I fitted a 2.5 n/a engine in 2007 I took a voluntary pay cut that meant that a 2nd vehicle became out of the question. Should I break it and sell on eBay? (overdrives fetch good money) or Should I ride it out and eventually put it back on the road?? (It has sat idle for 2 yrs)

crazyfarmerboy
is it dry stored, it's just you may run the risk of keeping it and having a rotten land rover when you want it again, otherwise keep it
njc110381
I'd break it and sell it. There's loads of old landys about, it will be easy enough to pick up another when you want it.
clueless1
I'm always adverse to the unnecessary breaking of an old LR, being a bit of a geek when it comes to these. You would realise more cash by doing this though than selling as a whole; sadly. A reasonable OD will get you about £250................. I'm guessing that it ows you nothing at the moment so why don't you keep it on sorn and dig it out in the future? A;ternitivly offer the thing for sale as a whole. You won't get as much cash but you won't have the time/effort involved in stripping it all to bits. Someone would love it :(
