markg
What equipment is recomended for the next purchase? I have got the basics, poles (wilko's),net and 25 non-flocked shell pigeon decoys + couple of flocked crows. I was thinking of buying 10 flocked decoys. Would a flapper or wirly be better equipment to go for next?
dankidd
Get a rotary from UKShootwarehouse - My pigeon shooting has completely changed since ive bought it. I swear by it! I also bought a pair of hypaflaps, these are very effective when there is very little or no wind because they are so light. I always take the hypaflaps off once ive got 2 live birds to put on the rotary.
humperdingle
Get some movement into the pattern you've already got. A flapper or rotary is many times more visible from a distance than 20 stationary decoys.
steve_b_wales
Get a flapper, used with an intermittent timer. For crows, this proves to be excellent. I also use a Primos Power crow call, again, a brilliant bit of kit. You can buy a 'flocking' kit to do your own crows/pigeons. I have used one a few times, and they are okay. Steve.
