Jim Sarakun
Tried them and found on the few days that they were used, that they do not work any better or any worse than anything else in the decoy bag. Use dead birds if you can, 'cos if they don't come in to dead birds, then they 'aint planning on eating where you are. Jim Sarakun
do ya think they could work better with a bit of movement to them , they do look very static Movement in your pattern is a good thing but don't doctor and probably mess up your fud's when there are decoys on the market that do move. My view is that everything has it's day and what works today may not work tomorrow. Dead birds are best but sometimes the combined weight of these and the rest of your kit makes dead birds prohibitive, especially if you are walking a long way to set up. If it's not too late, put some wobbly decoys on your Christmas list. Lay out your fuds with a couple of wobblies too and don't face them all into the wind, confident birds don't feed like that, watch them, you will see what I mean. chrispti
Have been waiting for mine for a month !!! they keep promising them "next week" then for xmas but didnt say which xmas, hope they are worth waiting for. Surprise surprise they will work if you find the field the birds want two feed on. So do short lengths of grey plastic guttering or a few pop bottles sprayed with grey primer According to the main UK distributors........... The FUD decoys employ three dimensional photo-realism to eliminate any need for decoy movement in your pattern!...take up our challenge: use the FUD decoys on their own. Do not mix with any other decoys, flappers or magnets and just WATCH THE RESULTS!! . . The FUD is not a decorative decoy, it is designed to fool wood pigeons in the field instead of hunters in the shop.
