big bad lindz
I know that we are having extremely bad cold and wintry conditions with the temperature not much above 0*c and BASC have asked for voluntary restraint on shooting in Scotland but where have the geese gone. Last week before the bad weather there were hundreds about but now zilch. I was looking forward to a few weeks both on the shore and decoying on stubble fields ps this is my first post and I have enjoyed looking and reading the many topics
Pinkfooty
Still plenty geese around this area but they are really suffering in the conditions. I was able to walk to within 30 yards of this lot today and some didn't even stand up. Here in Scotland, most wildfowlers seem to be observing the voluntary restraint and there will almost certainly be a total statutory ban before the end of the week.
