lee loadall 2, 20 gauge

Ferretmaster, did you shorten the pre crimp or the main crimper ? and how ?

He shortened the final crimp to 62mm on my instructions. Don't alter the crimp starter!

This is a modified 12 gauge Lee. I have sawn off the useless 8-point crimp starter for easy access to the rear 6-point starter.

The 6-point crimp-starter is on the FRONT of a 20 gauge Lee. Leave it alone.

What the reason for the screws in the bushes? Are they there to reduce the volume slightly or what?

Bang on! The bushes (measures) supplied with the Lee LoadAll 'throw' varying weights of shot, depending on pellet size. Example: 28 grams of No. 9 shot takes up LESS space than 28 grams of, say, No. 6 shot. The screws allow you to adjust for pellet sizes. So, in smaller shot sizes, there is a saving on shot and a LOWERING of possible dangerous pressures.
