Not sure how the video will work but lets see:

Next update from this seasons diary,Boxing Day and a great excuse to escape the outlaws and get to the shoot for a day in the fresh air after all the food and excess of the previous day.

Weather good to fair, though we did have a few showers. My shooting only fair I am afraid, seemed to be slow on the birds. Started poorly missing a sitter of a cock but followed that 60 seconds later with a nice woodcock taken in front, they look so slow but they are so deceiving!

That was on The Moor, then to Ressie and I have two chances, a nice head on hen and a fast crossing partridge, both added to the bag I am pleased to say!

Then onto Chilly and I am treated to a big covey of redlegs sailing over the gun to my right, stunning sight. I do get a little shooting and add another hen to the bag but I missed 5 or 6....

Then onto Gunners and I get my fav peg on the shoot, deep in the valley faced with a wall of rising trees to front and back, high fast birds and snap shooting! My shooting goes to pot though and I just add one bird to the bag for far too many shots....

Final drive and it is the duck.....and I do redeem myself with a couple of decent shots into the bag.

All in all for the day though it was my worst return for shoot, but does that really matter, no as I had a thoroughly great day.

Camera still playing up....but below is a video montage of the day. Not sure how long it will take to load as it is 2 mins long but you will see action from the start up until the middle of Gunners when the battery went flat.
