Cranfield
A few other Members have commented about people not declaring their location when registering on this Forum. Nobody is asking for home addresses, just the County would do. There is currently a ridiculous situation on the For Sale section where "graham20g" is selling a 4 gun cabinet and "peck" wants to know where he is located, to save money on the P&P, by possibly collecting the item. Neither have completed the location part of their profile. :( Its been suggested that we don't respond to people that leave this area blank, or put in something ridiculous. I am beginning to think this is a good idea.

It really ****** me off, glad someone else feels the same way. :< :<
ernyha
:( You can definately count me in on this one. When I see something for sale without a location, I don't bother reading on even if it is something I might be interested in buying. Why people do not fill out this part of their profile is behond me, because even if they are not selling something, it is good to know which part of the country they are talking about when writing about their shooting etc. We know that some idiots will put down a false location but the majority will put down the truth when they take the trouble to do so. PS. Hope you are reading this NTTF.
Dunkield
I already know of a couple of members who have hooked up simply because they noticed they might live near to each other and have got in touch (for a drink, nothing romantic!) so it has other benifits as well. Mind you, if I lived in Wales...... Only joking! :(
Axe
Well if it wasnt for locations I would never have met with Sussex Lad who's turned out to be a great chap. If not him, I wouldnt be applying for FAC and gained his knowledge and experience. We are now going out on regular hunting trips. And yes if your going to advertise a sales item, it seems rather silly not to give a location. Not to mention that having the location in conversation gives a clearer picture of whats going on around the UK. The only prob is that you can't rely on the location being accurate. :( Regards, Axe.
