saggy61
Hi all, I have been looking on fleebay after some new decoys and I have come across these "Reel wings flying Pigeon decoy" and I was wondering if anyone has used these or know what they are like as I am a bit sceptical as they don’t look anything like a pigeon. Cheers Saggy Couldn't load YouTube vid so here is the link: Edited January 12, 2010 by saggy61
Highlander
If you enjoy kite flying these could be just the thing for you! If you enjoy pigeon shooting then don't go there!

Fisherman Mike
I used them once and then burnt them. They actually scared the birds away from the pattern. They must have thought it was a raptor or something.....imo .....totally useless. The video is interesting though.... 12 million doves in Argentina that were coming to the Field in any case I would reccommend some good quality flocked full bodied decoys and some decent spring sticks to go with them. The more realistic you can make them the better.
chubbs45
couldnt disagree more i got 3 of them and in the right conditions they are brilliant , same as pigeon magnets /flappers/ floaters etc all of these sometimes work and sometimes dont , yes they need wind but then so does a floater to look effective , they dont need batteries like magnets or flappers though or variable speed controllers that always go wrong !!! for those that can remember when the magnet first started out their were a lot of people who said they were a gimmick and would never catch on hmmmmmmmm  chubbs
