Royboy
I was just wondering if anybody could tell me why my Lauron has no kick at all but is very light. My webley kicks me like mad but is very light and i once borrowed a berretta silver pigeon and that kicked more than mine and its a much heavyer gun ? bearhire
i got a similar problem with my really heavy o/u it kicks very hard even with light loads that dont kick much in my light s/s i think sometimes it may just be the fit of the gun makes it feel better/worse. George1990
Think it's because the energy is transferred into flipping the muzzles up, rather than pushing the gun back into you. This is what I find between my O/U and SxS anyway I imagine fit will make a difference too.
BaikalsRule90
i think that muzzle heavy guns tend to bash your shoulder a bit more than other guns, i reckon its cuz all the weight is being pushed back into your shoulder so you tend to feel it more whearas centre or rear weighted guns tend to flip the barrels upwards and reduce the shock, hence less pain... someone will correct me im sure
Jega
In all probability its a combination of all the above ideas ,plus what i consider to be the most important ........................... IT FITS YOU PERFECTLY
gsm1968
Have a look at the forcing cones, if they are short it can cause increased pressure and more felt recoil.
