I fitted both my Remingtons with Rifle Basix triggers. They are relatively cheap but you do have to fit the factory safety yourself and the E clip that holds this on is ****

The Jewell triggers are supposed to be the creme de la creme, but are substantially more expensive. The only drawback I found with the Rifle Basix varmint trigger was that it was if anything too light.

TBH I can't remember now. I actually bought two of them. One was the ERV extended range varmint which goes from 4oz to 1.25lbs. The other was a target trigger L-3 which is 2-6oz. I wouldn't recommend that one though for field use. The LV-1 is adjustable from 8oz to 1.5lbs and is probably the best option.
