Chally2
How much electricity does the uk use per year? Does any one know?
George1990
Far too much. If the average UK citizen is anything like my current housemates then the total could be cut easily by 75%!! Not to mention heating. I've lost count of how many commercial buildings i've been in with the heating cranked right up and all the windows wide open. What sort of morons run these places?? And high street shops with their automatic doors left wide open... It's ridiculous!!
AndyBaz
no idea, but i bet a lot more than it needs, but happy it keeps me in business, keeping those sparks under control in homes, ha, ha. an idea would be to taqke a look at what you use at home and multiply by 12 million ish. Not sure if that's the answer he was looking for My answer would be "quite a bit", which is probably another answer he wasn't looking for. kdubya
As far as I am concerned not enough is the answer Electricity production has kept me in a half decent lifestyle for the last 35 years KW
Chally2
Electricity - production: 368.6 billion kWh (2007 est.) country comparison to the world: 12 https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/th...ok/geos/uk.html Here's a better one, and a tip for any one writing reports. Go to wiki to find what your looking for and then go to the wiki reference and you might find like here that the info is more up to date or better, and you don't have to reference wiki which is not a reliable source. I just had trouble finding it in the first place.
