clueless1
I'm going to head out at about 14:00 today so put down some feed for the last shoot on Saturday. Now; I don't think there is much point in puting much in the feeders so was just going to scatter some grain around randomly in the general vacinity of the feeders. Is this a silly thing to do? Should I use the feeders; scatter randomly or leave little piles on the ground. Only a couple of days left so it does not have to be around long. Any tips appreciated. Cheers, Fraser
lister1
i would feed up as normal. you want them around breeding ready for next year.
decoy1979
I agree with Lister1, don't stop feeding just because the seasons finished. I assume you'll still want game on the ground for next season..

scolopax
Feed as normal. It almost verges on cruelty to stop feeding when you stop shooting if those pheasants have been relying on you all autumn and winter for food.
Teal
As above, there will be some cold days and nights still to come and natural food sources are still thin on the ground at this time of year. So keep on topping up the feeders into the spring .
Browning
Feed as normal. It almost verges on cruelty to stop feeding when you stop shooting if those pheasants have been relying on you all autumn and winter for food. Spot on Scolopax I usually feed at least into April (Sometimes May) until natural food is plentiful.
